Overall, sporting events are becoming like Bon Jovi concerts, actually. Those who just come out to a game for entertainment every now and then or people with a lot of money are able to sit in the lower section or better yet within the first few rows where people are the most visible. Lower level hockey tickets can be expensive. Same thing with Bon Jovi.
Some the of real supporters of the team are in the nosebleeds or top of the lower level so that they can afford to go to as many of the 41 home games they can afford to see their home team. Same thing with Bon Jovi.
I am absolutely speaking from experience. Those who know me best on this board, know I am an absolute Philadelphia Flyers fan nut. If you want to have a good time and sit with some real fans, sometimes the best seats in the house are in the nosebleeds.

I definitely think there are differences between European crowds and American crowds from what I have seen on videos but then again, I can recall just a month ago when Bon Jovi had their American set up so to speak at the O2, people where complaining about the poor crowds. It's the atmosphere that Bon Jovi have created for themselves by out-pricing their passionate fans.

This comment also just seems somewhat stupid to me. Twice the amount of shows? A lot of would trade it for a lot less shows and better setlists.
Also if you lived in the US, would you be flying from New York to Los Angeles to see a show? Florida to Uncasville? Maybe once for the NMS run but that's about it. It's not feasible and therefore doesn't matter how many shows are in the US.
