I know it's just a corporate gig and artists never really give those gigs much effort, but his voice is just shot. Monotone and struggling to hit notes that he hit with ease just a few years ago (not even comparing it to the mid-90s).

It's so rough that the next tour, I'll probably hold off on tickets until I see whether or not his voice has improved before committing to a show (not to mention a resolution to the whole RS situation).

I don't hate the idea of a corporate gig but Jon just sounds dreadful.

He's pimping himself out to corporations less than a month after finishing a huge tour? Of course his voice is shot. Either he needs the money (Citrix isn't exactly a Mom-and-Pop small business), his wife has already gotten sick of him hanging around the house, or he's trying to start getting used to life on the "D" list.

Maybe he knows the president or manager of Citrix and it was a favor.

The KOS stuff may just be for fun. I doubt he needs the dough. My wife was the KOS in Vegas last year and she said it was the funnest show of all that she saw last year (we saw Bon Jovi 6 times last year) and that JBJ seemed so loose and to be having a blast. KOS gigs are probably a way for JBJ to let loose and play a bunch of covers and different versions of songs with different musicians etc...
