So how is it different from Bon Jovi nowadays?

F*ck this sounds so bad that I'm lost for words...

When Bon Jovi tours, they bring everything: stage, equipment, production, etc. On these KOS shows, does Jon just depend on the venue's staging and sound equipment? That could be *part* of it.

Why is Michael Bolton playing guitar with Jon??

Its sad that its going to end like this. Even his normal tone is so fuc king annoying to listen to. He needs a new vocal coach and someone to be completely honest with him. After listening to that guy sing in '92, I can't even stand to listen to him anymore.

Richie's voice isn't the same either but compared to Jon, he is like a breath of fresh air. If they get back together, Richie needs to take over the lead vocals and Jon just needs to stand there and look pretty for the woman. He could be Richies backup dancer and just shake his ass the entire time.

His name is Jim Savastino. He's a really nice guy. All these guys are in Bobbys solo band. All nice guys, good musicians, but not rock star professional.

But Jon should be playing with some younger guys. They are making him look older and dated.

#1 Jon should spend more time shaking his ass because those strange facial gyrations he makes while singing are not sexy.

#2 Lorenza looks really awkward dancing and singing back up in Bad Name.

I think this is what Jon really WANTS to do. This is him flexing his E-Street/Jukes muscles - although, sadly, he has none - but this is his passion Vs his pride.

His pride is; he wants to be a global touring giant but he clearly doesn't get the buzz from it like he used to. Some will disagree with that but if you're honest with yourselves, I think it's pretty clear.

But his passion is being a bar band, playing tunes you love and throwing in the odd one for the crowd - by and large, the crowd enjoy the show because the band are enjoying it so much. Which is why the dynamic in Bon Jovi has been changing so much over the years, both in personnel and the songs that are on the set list.

Jon would love to be able to marry those two worlds together and tour at Springsteen's level, enjoying himself like Bruce does and I think he intended the BWC Tour to be a major step towards that. Less leaping about, more guitar, more of the tunes he enjoys but I firmly believe, after everything that happened on that tour, he lost interest and the set lists just didn't change up.

I think that Jon may wonder if he can take another year like this, even for huge receipts. He may take a long, hard look at what he does musically and go in a direction like The Fighter for a bit, with a few KoS gigs in there as well - then come back with the band later, when he gets the itch to be the biggest and best again.

But even though that voice needs sorting, he wont bother.

i ve always been a huge fan of jons solo work, watching these shows is sad sad sad...
this bad name is a disgrace...he cant play the guitar as richie does and certainly cant sing anymore...why does he have to do these gigs?
does he need the money?
he sounds really bad and imo destroys his reputation...playing with a cover band your back catalogue and sounding like it does...
i have faith that things will improve in the future but videos like these are the lowpoint of jon for me
