Mireille...I know you have mentioned that a few times but I'm still not sure I follow the logic. Is your point, so they can have THE big tour they tour more outside of the US because they can't just stay in North America and still have the biggest tour? You may have looked as I have not but are the US shows really that much less than other tours?

yes it is what I mean Deb exactly sorry for never giving up neither ....they don't even try to tour the usa because the so called huge success tour in the usa from february to july with all shows sold out crap was not that good it costed them a lot and the profit was not that outstanding with the huge among of discounted tickets .. if they could they would have tour just the usa was not that succesful ... IF IT WAS the same ole good success in the usa THEY WOULD NOT GO TO SOUTH AFRICA no offense from me to the south africaners but jovi doesn't care that much to please the world potential audience they focus on being the best touring band making the most money jon needs that more than air

this tour is like these days

thse days situation was like this tour on 2 years as well ... and thne they stopped after it because they felt the saturation of the usa market but it was obvious this is what happened few years after ...history is on repeat perpetually

and the usa and the usual canada germany uk and few selected europe cities gross alone won't buy Jon his football team (not anymore)

Hope the tour leads the band to Africa and Israel too.

Why not? Kiss did exactly that for nearly a decade--and the major market responded again. Plenty of American acts do nothing BUT tour ovetseas.

As for Israel, I read where they were told that there was no way to guarantee the band's safety--but I read that a while ago.

I live overseas ..I live in paris ..I see tons of bands ... KISS ? they have toured overseas for a decade ? 1) they are not jovi pattern

not many american bands tour overseas and are majorly huge at home the biggest usa acts the biggest money maker in the usa are country artist who never leave the usa land ...

I don't say bon jovi touring overseas extensively is bad I say it shows an issue in the usa market itself because usually they focus in the usa mainly

usually bon jovi tour usa + toronto montreal (and if lucky canada get more dates but it has to do with the country cd) and japan and the usual big countries in europe (uk ireland germany swiss holland) and that's it and they go back to the usa ... this tour they added many other countries ..I love it .. for the fans there and for MYSELF but I am sure it is done just because they cannot make enough benefits with the usual tour system ...I very honestly think the usa market is saturated and this saturation is probably making them enter a break ... the band itself is tired of jovi the usa media is not responding much to jovi anymore

Extended tours are done to make a lot of money when a cd or a band is not huge at home anymore

the extended tour shows like in 95/96 a need to cash in to the maximum before stepping back and wait for the market to MISS JOVI and call them back

Touring Israel or Greece etc is not a need for the band to visit those fans that need them for decades .. it's just money business let's stop dreaming .. it's economical financial moves ...if it have been possible the band would stay with the usual germany uk japan canada usa tour

well this is my opinion with a little bit of observation of the world / usa economical situation ..I am not having access to the band secret figures

I have not watched this interview yet. But Jon did some phone interview that is partly on universal music taiwan, its hard to get a decent translation. It was done on the 18th of October and basically says likely to get a show in January or May for Taiwan

hah, you make belfast in 1.5hrs from Dublin!! i have my tickets purchased for Dublin my friend, however, they could play an arena show in Belfast which saves the huge outdoor stage having to move!! Jon never listens to my ideas though!!! I keep telling him to play Bed of Roses and I still havent heard it live in the many concerts I have been to!!
