Haha ironically enough, not a good example. We got it going on goes over VERY well live with the crowd for some reason. I see your point though...WGIGO just represents the band today more than the second album does.

Wow is all I can say after reading this thread.

I am looking forward to going to the o2 in however many days or weeks. Yes I did complain about prices but then I just thought ah f*ck and bought 7 tickets for different shows and priced differently.

I used to stay up and follow the pbps on past tours, this tour I haven't. I wanted to see if there would be any surprises at the o2 so I stayed away from setlists, youtube etc but curiousity got the better.. I have read the setlists and a few reviews from people who attended the various shows and I am still looking forward to going to the o2 regardless of what anyone says.
I've been to a few kick ass shows in the past and I do think that the upcoming shows at the o2 will be great, as I am seeing a band I love and have spent a great amount of money on in various ways in the past and will continue to do so in the future

I do also think the shows at Meadowlands will be a warm up for the o2 and the people who are going there will get quality shows also

I have made some great friends through this band and have met some lovely people over the years too

Well, the reason is that it's a Desmond Child song. It was only included to become a hit.

WGIGO goes over better than 90% of the rest of the setlist. NOT at all saying that's a good thing, but it does.

I'm always find a lot of the "running away from their roots" thing a little overblown. Yes, they speak negatively of being pigeonholed, but still 7-8 of the songs they play every night are from their "hair band" era.

I think everyone's just bored now, we've been spoiled over the last decade and now we've had our fill and need a break.

They should have had a 2-3 year hiatus after the Lost Highway tour and then come back refreshed. We would be hungry for more and everyone would benefit.

Sooooo, who's for the GH tour next year?

Puh, maybe the people who go to 65billion shows a tour are bored. I am not!

The only time I want Jovi to take a break from touring is whilst Springsteen is touring.

I only go to one show a tour and while I've loved everyone of them I just don't have the same feelings about them as I used to.

Maybe I've fell out of love with them, I think we need a break from each other. It's me.... Sorry Jon, it's not the fact that you've reduced your band to a tribute act (and the most expensive one to see at that). It's not because you made a documentary about how much of a serious CEO you are and I can swear It's not got anything to do with bringing a 2nd shitty guitarist into the band, making Richie feel like a prized cock. No, no it's me.

I went to my first show on the HAND tour and my only two shows after that were during the same week on the LH tour.

Since that time I have barely listened to Jovi because of well, Springsteen and also 3 years of constant Jovi lovin' does get tiresome.

But even though I'm ticketless, these 02 shows are getting closer, I'm getting giddy and excited and I've been playing Jovi a fair bit.

IT'S THE POWER OF BON JOVI. I'M IN LOVE AGAIN.

Just to say. Let's not forget this is the band who wrote "their songs were more than music, they were pitches from the soul". They KNOW what a good band is. They KNOW what a great show is. They CHOOSE not to do that.

And also, that NO ONE has contributed to the "Remember how it felt when...." thread on this tour. Read through that if you question what is missing today.
