The argument that there is no reason to do multiple shows doesn't really fly though does it?? There were different sets at all of the mutiple show stops. The fact is some of you just don't like the song choices that were made, which is fine. I think it's a pretty well established thing that what is one persons golden setlist, is another persons toss away set.

I am going to the Paris concert because I will hopefully be done then with my thesis and it's a change of scenery. I don't go there hoping I will hear any different songs then they already played. Yes, I am still eager to hear Blaze of Glory but I am not putting no money on it.

The more you analyse, predict, discuss the shows the more boring it will get. A show is an experience and about having a nice time.

So yes, Bon Jovi might not change their setlists these tour but all I hear is that Jon's voice is better and the shows are good overall, I don't ask for more.

Some people here are living Jovitalk too much while I come here every now and then to nose around a bit.

And the more shows you go with the attitude that you will probably get dissapointed again will only destroy the fun for yourself.

That's another reason I only go to see Bon Jovi once a tour. I just want to get a good show and it seems they play a good show with the current setlist so I can live with that.

There's a difference between keeping your hopes up and getting dissapointed over and over by the continuous downrating you do yourself or just being realistic as I am and accept what is offered and enjoy that to the fullest.

I salute you,
TS
That was very well said. Really.

But there's one thing that I must ask. Are you really Seb's brother? If you are, you must give your big bro a long lesson about right attitude towards Bon Jovi shows. I am impressed with your words. That's exactly what I have been trying to tell him for months. If only he had such an attitude his joy to their music would come back right away.

(Seb, no offence, but you need to learn a lot from your little brother)

I am really his brother and we think differently on some things and as long as he doesn't do any real harm I am not taking the road of having endless discussions and just leave it be the way we are both happy

I salute you,
TS

Thats it in a nutshell, there will always be people complaining about sets , if they are putting on good shows with great vocals then thats me happy if a couple of songs "I Adore" are played even better bonus

I also agree with TS statements about overanalyzing things to the point that you take all the fun out of it for yourself.
I never walk into a show with a setlist running in my head, whether it's the first show I've seen on a tour or the fifteenth. Are there songs I would love to hear?? Sure all diehards have songs they want to hear, but I don't consider a show a failure if I don't hear them. As long as the band plays well, Jon is in good voice and I see passion in what they are playing it's going to go down as a good show for me. If i get a rare or two it just makes the show that much better.
