And when it comes to the discussion of loosing interest in Bon Jovi or growing up etc... Theyīve been in my life for about 24 years -that makes almost a quarter of a century. They sure have changed -and so have I! Thereīs been ups and downs, just like in any long relationship. Many times Iīve felt frustrated and then time and again realized how much they really mean to me. These guys have played the soundtrack of my life, theyīve created and performed music no one else could and their music speaks to me like no other music. No matter if Iīm 15 or 38.

I couldnīt care less if Jon Bon Jovi is a businessman or not. In June Iīm going to see them once again. And itīll be amazing to see the songs of my life performed live in front of me, by the guys who wrote them.
Just want to second this post. Exactly how I feel.

I have been fan since 1995, in march I saw them for first time in my life...it was a really really big thing to me. They still rocks, if you donīt see them live in this tour, just wait for it. Watchin videos in youtube or make the pbp in the internet is million miles away form the fact of beein in the show

But itīs ok, I respect all perpectives.

Uh, just for the record Bon Jovi did sell condoms at concerts and were the cover feature of the Aids issue of Spin back in 87 which came with a condom atttached to the cover next to Jon's face.

To me they all lost inspiration and passion a long time ago. So I know what you mean Seb.

I'm not excited by the Paris show in one month...so not excited that everyday I think of selling my tickets. Still don't know what to do. And not sure I could even sell them!

So to you they lost all their inspiration and passion a long time ago yet you recently purchased a ticket to their show in Paris? That makes no sense.

The band have seen and done it all, it's only natural that they have lost some of the enthusiasm they once had. Just watch the WWWB Documentary, Jon comes out of the concerts and looks bored. He doesn't even talk about the show he just played, he'd rather talk about being such a great businessman with worries outside the realms of reasoning for us mortals.

I just look at Jon now as an act, much like watching Tom Cruise in a movie, I know deep down he isn't the man he's playing, but I still enjoy it. Not as much as I used to, but people change. The whole band have deteriorated since the mid 90's but they still have enough magic to pull in the people who recognise all their flaws.

So no, Jon hasn't destroyed the fun. He's just distanced himself from it.

Why did you buy tickets to begin with?

Nostalgia? I didn't want to give up on them so quickly? I still think that live it can be good? Hearing the oldies you know...songs you grew up with.

Because I'm French and it's been 10 years since they played in Paris? Even though I now live in Belgium, so it doesn't make sense either...

Because when I heard "Bon Jovi" and "Bercy" in the same sentence my first reaction was "Oh my God" just like a ten year old who saw Bob Pattinson on TV (no offense) Who knows... I bought my tickets a long time ago! Yeah we thought it will be sold out! So maybe I should go because they will never come back in France, that's for sure!

I'm also confused because you have said they've had no passion for a long time yet you only signed up here last year.

Tell you what, go to the show, and then come back and tell us if you still feel there's no passion.
