If he goes back to boring Jon with the band I'm not paying top prices to see them after this tour.
Bobby OWNS Jon with the vocals on this. How awkward..

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

What's the story behind this band? I've not heard of them before. These last few months or so I've really been getting into Leonard Cohen so I was glad to see that I'm Your Man was indeed the song Jon was covering and it sounded pretty cool to my ears - I'm liking the horns in it.

I also noticed how the band almost look like the current line-up of The E Street Band, the horns in one corner and some percussionist in the other corner. That's what got me wondering if this is some new band JBJ concocted or if it's an old side-band of his I've missed?

Wouldn't mind if he recorded 'I'm Your Man' in the studio with these guys.

This is mostly the same lineup that I have seen at the Red Bank Hope Concert shows the past few years. I think the sound is far more like the Asbury Jukes sound rather than the E Street Band - mostly because Bobby and almost everyone there is an ex Juke. Jon always wanted to be a Juke anyway LOL.

I'm glad to see that you are appreciating Cohen. I have been a fan since 1966 and seeing him in concert is incredible. Andy Kuzminski (music critic) says that after seeing Leonard Cohen you wonder why you bother with anyone else. I have to agree. I am glad to see Jon covering more of his stuff.

Just saw on FB, Joe Elliot got on stage and sang With A Little Help From My Friends with Jon. I don't see that on the set list.

Ah! The sound is definitely more Asbury Jukes than E Street, I just meant it looked kind of 'Wrecking Ball Tour'-esque on stage. Who wouldn't want to be a Juke? Having said that, after an Asbury Juke show I saw in 2011 I was stood outside the venue and overheard a conversation between two of the horn section members and one of them was bitching about being in the band. The grass is always greener, but c'mon!

Cohen's music is wonderful, I am thankful I was brought to him by the Powers That Be. My girlfriend bought me a copy of 'Ten New Songs' last week because I had expressed my wish in wanting any album that has a song like 'In My Secret Life' on it. I have played it each night in bed since I got it and I am always a little disappointed when the album comes to an end.

Until I replay it.

Was just about to post the same things. Pics of Joe onstage with Jon. I saw a pic backstage too.

This was posted on Def Leppard's FB page.

I find it interesting that in a Jon Bon Jovi solo concert, he didn't take the chance to play a single solo song of his. I understand fans come and expect a certain amount of Bon Jovi hits, but I would've thought he'd at least play Blaze of Glory.
