Dunno bout anyone else but id hate to see them play festivals, imagine having to stand through 4 hours of crap to see BJ at £200 a time. Anyhow I doubt theyd even headline any festival here so hopefully that wont happen.
i wouldn't say that, Isle of white, glstonbury and reading/leeds often have bands like Bon jovi who are legends as oposed to just popular at the time headlining

I reckon it would glastonbury though, it's the most famous and probably the biggest

Sorry but I really dont think Glasto would even happen. Fair enough they have "legends" playing there but they are only ever bands considered "cool" like Paul Mccartney, Bob Dylan or the Who. Theyd get bottled at festivals trust me

I agree. Saw them at Donnington in 1987 when they were the headliners (that was a different era mind you). The atmosphere was fantastic, I can still remember it, but its pretty difficult to get a good spot with a decent view!

I thought Coventry was fantastic, and I was really impressed that he pushed himself that hard to make it up to everyone. I think he was really giving it his all, and wasn't just rushing through it to get back to hotel. It was special to me.

That's why I wanted to know if the sunglasses bit was from Coventry, I've seen near-full shows when he hasn't taken his sunglasses away, it was just interesting that he mentioned it.

Nice interview. Good to hear him acknowledge Hull wasn't his best performance but better that he said the crowd was good.

Have to agree with you there! I actually thought their Coventry gig was the best Bon Jovi concert I've been to so far (have seen them 5 time over the past 6 years) so despite Jon feeling unwell I don't think it affected his singing/performance at all

I've been thinking alot recently about Bon Jovi doing a festival. I'd love it. I've been to Leeds and T in The Park, I always said i wouldnt go to T again, but if Jovi played next year, i'd HAVE to. Plus, the really good thing about it would be.... you'd be able to take non jovi fans to see them really easily. Bit of converting on the cards me thinks! Jon sounded very, very interested in doing them. As he said, they won't be doing anything else next year. Like it how the host said he'd give him "the numbers to call" after they come off air.
