Thumbs down Jon rambling???

has Jon done any major league rambling on the tour yet? during maybe sleep or something?
or half way through KTF anything like that?
i remember he did a good one during KTF at shepherds bush and i think sleep when im dead at huddersfield i remember in particular was brilliant.
just a thought always cracks me up!

On the 24th, he was talking about Canada's election, and he started into some long story about something or other. It was funny, cause the audience started cheering, basically saying, "get on with the show".

He started talking about how you can't complain if you don't vote, and somehow got to the importance of the equality of all races, and etc. etc.
What he said was true, but I got the feeling people just wanted to hear music, you know?

It was really funny how he kept going and most people were bored. Ha!

He'l be no Bono, thank god. But i do like his ad-libing etc on songs like sat night, Sleep, KTF etc, and i also like introductions to songs with maybe a short story. I love the These Days ''black cloud theory'' speech and the Dry Country intro speech for example.

Rambling is ok as long as it's not too long. Bono is REALLY REALLY BAD when it comes to this. Play more songs. Do your preaching in a different avenue.

At the Milwaukee show there were two times that he cracked everyone up.
1) he took us through a time machine..kinda like this its 2005...2003...2000..1997...1995....1992...1989..19 85..1983..1982...STOP!!
It all started when a boy from Jersey knocked down a radio stations door and said play this....boom here come Runaway.

The other time he referenced his AFL team..and that it was better to get him on Saturday because if his team loses he would be pissed on Monday

Yeah he did that time machine thing at the Jan 23 Toronto show too. Kinda cool cause I didn't know what album he would stop at (although I was sorta hoping it wouldn't be runaway but expecting it at the same time)

The time machine is wack... probably one of the worst stage raps... although it's not as bad as monday tuesday wednesday bla bla bla everyday! Now that is totally weak.
