jon singing one of richie's

wouldn't it be nice to have them two singing one of richie's song in a duet live ? we can only dream about it I guess.

It would be nice, but Jon wouldn't "stoop that low." Remember, Jon Bon Jovi is about Jon Bon Jovi, very little Richie Sambora.

I don't think it has anything to do with Jon thinking he's too good to sing Richies stuff. I think it's more about leaving Richies solo work to Richie, not invading his space, or taking away from from Richie in any way.
The same way JOn didn't do the red carpet on the premiere night of Memphis last year but Richie and Tico did. It was David's night and Jon didn't want to distract from or diminish it in any way for David, so he stayed away. Do you really think he was any less proud or less excited for David than any of the others??

I don't think Jon would do that ... to do a song from someone or with someone else requires either the song to be mythic or the song to be hype at the moment (mercy for example or JBj forced to do one song from sugarland at the show crossroad) I honestly think he has no interest for Richie's material ... ...but maybe if Richie was touring solo Jon may join him and then sing one of Richie songs on stage .. maybe .. IF Richie was the one on tour and if Jon joined him on stage like Shepperds bush 98

and also I don't think that if he did a Richie song ppl would scream and faint he is much better than Richie so he wouldn't steal anything it's presumptuous to imagine he would

I don't think Tico and Richie were bad guys to invade Dave's moment at the memphis premiere ... ((but maybe it means they did no harm because they are not wonderful enough to steal anything ? )) I think Richie and Tico are much more laid back and don't plan their public appearance like Jon do ..it would have been rude of Jon to do the red carpet and get all the attention but he could have gone more discret and friendly by saying a lil hello but avoiding the red carpet though ...

I never said that Richie and Tico were "bad guys" for doing the red carpet with David, he obviously wanted them there. My point was Jon was being respectful of it being Davids "moment" so he stayed away, and I think it's that same kind of respect that would keep him from singing Richies solo work, not that he thinks he's too good for it.
