Apparently he hurt himself during Glad All Over. After the song, he leaned over in pain, and Rich came over, they discussed it, and then Jon limped around the stage, clearly in a lot of pain, and said something to the crowd about blowing out his calf. He did Prayer, and spent almost entirety of the song holding on the mic stand, obviously in tremendous pain. At one point, he held the mic stand over his head, and almost collapsed. After the end of the song, Jon tried to walk it off, but his leg totally gave out, and Dave had to catch him. Dave carried Jon through the bows, then carried him off the stage. I will say one thing, on a night where I'm trashing Jon A LOT, I will say the man gutted out the pain to the max.

Poor Jon!! I hope he is okay - you actually saw all that? My god - did he come back on the stage after Richie carried him off, or was Prayer the last song of the night?

I hope he's okay to sing again tonight, or whenever the next performance is.

Prayer was the end.

Well, hopefully he gets better - are you going to see their next concert? Hopefully the people here who attend can tell us how he is.

Looks to me like he went down with severe cramp.
Some nights, while I'm asleep my calf will go into a cramp spasm. It's agonising for a few minutes and then hinders walking for about 18 hours.

If you take into consideration the weather, the possibility of dehydration and maybe an inadequate physio beforehand, cramp is VERY likely to kick in.

If Jon is happily back on stage tonight then that's a pretty clear indication it was just cramp.

As I said, he needs a good massage. Pity I cannot be there to provide it.

he did say he blew it out. Does that mean the same thing as a cramp?
I had a calf cramp last week and was sore for about 2 days.. but I could still walk fairly well.

I checked google and it said it could be just a strain, like he might have pulled a muscle in there from all the moving around he does.
