Oh, okay. I get it. yeah, kill that damn chicken. And the Elvis/Devil doll as well. So glad that those are gone.

Well if you read Sara's post at the Backstage board, she says he wasn't smiling at all, he was serious (and rude), there's a whole debate over there.

Thank You Sarah - I'm glad I'm not the only one with a different perception. I have been to many Bon Jovi shows over the years but last nights show was one of the BEST. Super intense energy - great setlist (no Shout at the end ) - they rocked all night. Both my daughter and I were very disappointed about them cancelling the acoustic part of the show. At the end of the show, we looked at each other and said - OK - they made it all up to us. My husband was rocking until 2 in the morning. He also thought it was one of the best he had seen. I did notice that Jon was having some problems with his earpiece but it appeared to be a minor irritation. Just to mention something else - his voice was in great shape. Very clear - and he hit more high notes in Prayer than I've heard for awhile. It came across to us a cracking dress rehersal for Giants. I honestly saw no bad mood on his part whatsoever. Someone said that he hardly moved onstage I saw more dancing and big grins than I saw at Philly last week - that was a good show also, but this one was better IMO. Maybe some of the younger fans are offended by being told to f**k off - but I would take it in the spirit it was given. If you shove a sign in Jon's face saying that you prefer Richie - it is an entirely appropriate response.

I was about 20 rows back last night.

If you couldn't sense Jon's bad mood last night, I'm happy for you. I'm sure that made the show more enjoyable for you.

Last night was the 6th show on this tour I've seen. I assure you - He was not happy.

Did anyone not notice that when the band took their customary bow at the end, Jon didn't? Did anyone notice that Jon was the 1st one off of the stage? Did anyone notice that Jon didn't bring anyone on stage to dance with him like he always does? Did anyone notice him throw the maroccas to the ground during "Keep The Faith"? Did anyone notice him continually walking away in anger from the sound tech trying to fix his earpiece? Did anyone notice Jon just standing staionary on stage for minutes at a time during Richie's guitar solos?

Listen, I'm not trying tobe a jerk or anything. Just trying to vent a bit about my disappointment and concern for what Jon's deal is. Anyone who has seen this band many times can certainly tell, something has been nothering him the last few nights.

Well if you have such great insights, what is it?
You've already answered your own question. If the sound was less than perfect, a perfectionist is gonna get pissy.

Dancing with a girl is not a guarantee.

Jon always throws the maraccas up in the air at the end of KTF and then tosses them off dismissively after he catches them.

Jon's tossing people off? LOL

You again?" and Colleen made eye contact and said, "I'm sorry!" about the sign and Jon flipped her off. Then he grinned at her. So, he was just joking with her and she knew it.
I just love it when people say "I made eye contact with Jon and he saw me and winked/smiled/etc etc etc" what a load of cobblers

In the 15 times I've seen Bon Jovi perform "Keep The Faith" live, I've never seen him throw the maroccas angrily on the ground.

The sound was fine to me. The band sounded great. That's why I think there was something else really bothering him.

I'm not trying to argue with anyone about this. I'm simply making an observation - Something is bothering Jon.

stop reading into the man like you know him!!!! lol
he seemed fine, yeah you could tell there were some technical difficulties, but not that many. he was holding his ears and stuff, I think thats why he was mad during KTF and threw the maracas. I was sitting next to Sara (the girl Jon flipped off) Im not gonna say anything about it because its her decision. but whatever...Jon seemed fine... he did kiss a girl in the front row. He was very playful at some points. the reason why he didnt dnace with anyone is because they didnt do BOR and they replaced Living in sin with BOR, do you have a problem with that?? lol if you do, thats really sad because that was a great moment to witness and a great song to hear live!!!!
i had 5th row so I could see everything (including Dave drying his hair during the intermission lol).
Jon also played with some womans underwear that she threw on teh stage that was funny but what I didnt realize was that she actually had them on and proceeded to put them back on under her skirt after she got them back. Poor Jon, he probably didnt realize that she was wearing them. thats gross...but He smiled ALOT, maybe from the 20th row you couldnt see it, and he did interact with the crowd. he was pointing at everyone and everything. so i dont know what you were seeing, if you were talking about the technical difficulties then yes, he was visibly pissed about that for about 5 minutes but that was it. Maybe if you had better seats, you could have seen what we saw towards the front (not meaning to be mean, but just the truth.)
