These Days Hyde Park 2003. This is painful to watch and probably one of the worst vocal performances ever

I'd say it was a performance from Germany on that same tour that's probably his worst attempt at it. And to even think that just 3 years earlier he could sing it like this:

And it took him 7 years to sound close to that again.
The HAND tour is only good for HAND songs, IMO. HAND sounded great at the beginning of the tour. The rest of the tour is just bland. Only a handful of bright spots. One thing I do like is that only FOUR songs from the entire HAND album are songs that Jon plays acoustic on. That's a record low, it seems like.

I think at this point Jon's voice is just fine as long as he puts in the work to keep it up, warms his voice properly before a performance and cools it down after. I think on this recent promo run, he's been a little slack on the warm up, becausehe is only doing a few songs, which obviously makes a difference. Plus they never seem to sound as good on tv to me.

during these promos, jon seems to not care, but during the south american tour, he was on fire, vocally. so probably when jon goes back on tour, his voice will come back.I still say that the circle tour is jon's best vocal since 1995.

No way. His vocals during the One Wild Night Tour were completely superior in every way. Besides, don't forget the 1996-1998 period where his voice was still quite impressive.

The quality is nothing special, but decent enough. Check out 'Born To Be My Baby' from Hyde Park. It's fairly shocking.


'Reason' is replaced by what sounds a little like 'Rihanna' without the last 'a'
