something must have gone awry in the last decade though. springsteen stretched his vocals to amazing heights in his heyday and guess what ? still does, at the age of 61 !

Why the need to compare Bruce to Jon all the time?

In all honesty, I hate Springsteen. I hate his music, I don't think he's that good a singer at all and I wouldn't pay money to see him live.
That song he did for the Philidelphea or whatever movie is the best song he;s done, (I think it was him lol) and the others suck.

I prefer BJ over Bruce anyday and I think lots of other people do too.

Just my two cents

So just because I don't like his music, it's a stupid comment? Whatever.

^^As far as artists who continue to sing well as they age I think Bryan Adams is a great example. Regarding Jon, everyone talks about hitting the high notes but personally I think the biggest issue for him is not the loss of range but the loss of his formerly great tone; he used to have a lot of warmth and richness in his vocal tone.

Not liking somebody's music does not justify hatred.

When she says she "hates Springsteen", I'm sure she means as an artist not as a human being.

Because this guy is the benchmark for everybody in the music business in terms of live performances. Whether or not you like his music, he gives his all every single night on stage while pushing the E-Street Band to the height of their capabilities.

He's got good days and bad days, just like any other human being. Yet regardless, he will always, always give a hundred percent during any show and that's all an aufience can ever ask for. They call him the Boss for a reason.
