After 2006 he started working with a new vocal coach and she has changed his singing technique. Most likely his voice is still damaged, a shadow of what it was in 1990 in terms of range, power and tone. It doesn't do any harm that since '08 songs like Always and DC have appeared on the setlist, it's good to stretch his voice sometimes on the harder to sing songs.
