Bollocks statement that. Tele prompter is fair enough considering there is a back catalogue of 14 albums and hundreds of songs. I bet he only uses the tele prompter for the raraties played so there is no laziness about it.

I don't see the big deal in the teleprompters use.....besides- those damn banners distract him remember? LOL

That's an overreaction. Whether you rehearse or not, the human mind can forget things. Every singer messes up the lyrics every now and again, whether it be on a deep album cut or his biggest hit single.

I guess the teleprompter doesn't bother me much, if at all. As has been said, it can increase the chance of rarities. The main reason it is there is to give Jon a backup should he need it.

If plenty of other bands use teleprompters and, realistically, all rehearse more than BJ it just hammers home people are using this as a witch hunt.

There are a lot of things to bitch about when it comes to Bon Jovi these days, this isn't one of them. Like Seb said, it (in theory) opens up the catalogue. Plus, pretty much every arena/stadium level band has them.

I actually work in the live show industry. You guys r complaining about teleprompters?... Thats a standard since back in the 90s. Doesnt add orñtake away from the performance. You would be surprised what goes on aside from the screens. Bon Jovi lovesssss to use backing tracks, SUPRISEEE, most of the choruses are tracks and the band sings on top. Its all industry standard. U2 actually has a piano/guitar player under the stage at every show

Examples? They clearly do on Faith, It's My Life and Prayer, maybe Have a nice day. Any others?
