Green Day would not sell it out. All the rest you mentioned(Stones, Floyd, Jovi, U2) would.

GreenDay more than likely would sell it out... considerin they sold out 2 nights at Milton Keynes Bowl last year i think which is infact holds many more people than Wembley Stadium does for gigs....

Actually I also would say a British band should open the stadium. I mean, the people in the USA don't care at all for soccer so why should an American band open a soccer stadium? Bon Jovi said several times that they don't have any idea about soccer (exept of David who played it in his youth).

They should make it like an instant classic lineup...put a bunch of brits up there throughout the night...Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Stones, Floyd, Elton John, etc.

I couldn't care less is the opener British band or some group from south africa... Only what matter is that the band is good and it has had some history with Wembley...
And we all know I'm talking about Jovi.
But still cannot see that happening.
