It's very odd especially as they've just released their most un-rockish album...lol.

Not heard Kerrang for a while, but I'm sure they have a wideish range of rock music going on nowadays. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I think these shows need all the promotion they can get at the moment.

Kerrang! radio play alot more of a variety than Kerrang! TV. Along with the typicals like Metallica/Linkin Park/GnR they'll play Oasis/Coldplay/Razorlight.

Had it been a competition on Kerrang! TV I might be a bit more shocked.

It's true, Kerrang Radio is MASSIVELY different to the magazine and tv channel. Daytime Kerrang Radio playlists are more like Radio1, without the RnB and dance tracks. Ie, they play lots of non-offensive indie and 'floppy-haired NME darlings' such as Razorlight, The Hoosiers, Jack Penate, etc.

I don't like Kerrang radio, cos it's so different from what Kerrang is supposed to be .... the magazine and channel do occasionally show some support for Bon Jovi (they made it into the top 10 most influential artists of the last 25 years, and SWW made their top 10 rock albums ever)
