I am amazed at this, I suggested KR years ago as an opener but never thought they would have the balls to do it. When I saw Rock open for Aerosmith he blew them off the stage 2 nights in a row. We were there for Aerosmith and had only a passing familiarity with Kid Rock at the time. After those 2 shows we got tickets to see Rock headline and it was amazing. No headliner, 2+ hour show, non-stop music, Kid played every instrument at some time during the show.
I may have to go see a Jovi show this year after all, it will be a little bit of a drive though (SUVs float right
Dave

P,S, he jammed with Aerosmith every night in thier encore and did a little bit of Wanted Dead or Alive on the Howard Stern show one time, saying "Richie gets to sing the best part, Waaanteeed"

That sounds like a great set-up. If Bon Jovi see Kid Rock do his thing (and he's in top form), it should light a fire under them to put more energy into their set. They won't want to get shown up by the opening act.

Bleh, American Badass is an awful song IMO, and I don't think I know any of the rest of his songs ... the whole rap / Southern rock mixture annoys me anyway. But since you guys are saying he's good live, maybe it won't be so bad, maybe. Probably better than Razorlight anyways. I suppose at the very least a bill of those three bands would justify the ticket price

Now hurry up and announce the support acts for the rest of Europe already!

So long as he plays quite a bit from Devil Without A Cause that'd be great!

I hope he supports the rest of Europe.

And for those who's saying he's rubbish download an album called Live Trucker - it's his live concert album and I'm not kidding, it's awesome. Yeah, some of his songs have the rap/rock thing - and personally I like those but appreciate they're not to everyones taste - but he has quite a few others that aren't about that too.
