The fact that I'd heard of him and know one of his songs made me think he must be well known as I'm incredibly out of touch with the music scene of the last decade!

have to say i wouldint be a fan of kid rocks albums as a whole but i saw him live at a festival in germany a few years ago and was blown away an amazing live gig and also a very talented guy he played a solo on every instrument on stage particularly impressive on the drums! Im suprised razorlight is a no go seeing as it was advertised on the posters etc...but this is not the first time a stunt like this has been pulled it happened with guns n roses oevr here a 2 years ago motley crue were advertised to support!!

I don't think Razorlight is a "no go". As I understand it, both Razorlight and Kid Rock are planned to support Bon Jovi at Punchestown.

like another poster said he sings about ****ing and eating pussy (nowt up with that). get a couple of his cds it takes a while to get into but he really does know how to rock. He is massive in the states but for some reason he never made it in europe.Really shocked when he was announced cause the jovi show these days(pardon the pun) aint as rock n roll as it was in the 80s and it is more of a family day out.

Kid Rock is now confirmed for Download Festival, 13th-15th June.

I reckon this means the rest of the UK will (unfortunatly) get him as support.

As he is confirmed for Download and the Ireland show, the rest of the UK tour slots around the festival nicely, with Southampton the week before (11th) and the rest of the dates starting the week after the festival (21st-28th).

Can't wait...

I've always thought "Cowboy" and "Wanted" would make a great mash up song, like Jay-Z and Linkin Park have done.

I think that will be great. I bet he'll tone some of his songs down though or mostly play new stuff. But if he doesn't play Cowboy or Devil Without A Cause (which has one of the funkiest basslines I've heard) I'll be upset.
