Am looking forward to Kid Rock He was excellent in Punchestown in 08

I don't think he is too bad with the bad language these days!
As far as I can remember he wasn't anyways.

I look forward to Kid Rock more than One Republic tbh, hopefully he'll be good on the 26th.

I wish I could have gotten to a show where Kid Rock was opening. I saw him a few years ago and really enjoyed his show.

The swearing really doesnt bother me, its rock n roll, you dont want swearing go see a boy band. Not as if jon keeps it clean all the time...richie certainly doesnt. Dont really see what the problem is.

Problem is that Bon Jovi have been heading further and further down the boy band route in the past few years. By trying to appeal to new audiences they seem to be turning out a lot of pop crap which is why they get a lot of younger fans. I agree with other posters, this should be a rock 'n' roll gig and if ya don't like the swearing you can **** off, but Bon Jovi are more of a family band now and there'll be plenty of teeny boppers turning up to watch Jon shake his ass to WGIGO, TIOH, etc.

I personally don't have an issue with swearing (hence I enjoyed Kid Rock's show), but I don't have a issue with Jon *not* typically swearing a lot either. I don't think swearing is necessary and I don't think it makes the show any better to have it. I can understand Jon respecting the parents out there who want to bring their kids to a show and not have them subjected to swearing. A parent who was mindful of such things could feel confident taking their kid to a Bon Jovi show and I think that contributes to Bon Jovi's audiences being made up of people from 8 to 80.
