Loved reading your story, and I know what you mean about Hallelujah, I too closed my eyes for part of that too, and let the song wash through me. Must be great knowing that Jon read your letter - well done for making the most of an opportunity. I was there on the 25th too and Santa Fe was so special to me as YG2 was and still is one of my favourite BJ/JBJ albums. Hope your photos came out well.

Great story, reasd through all of that and it captures the emotions of the final 2 shows perfectly. The last encore was truly magical, I literally had no idea where the time went and all of a sudden it was 11.15pm and Prayer was starting, it was just sublime.

Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing all your feelings. I think we all relate with them in some way.

It is difficult for those who are not really huge fans to understand what BJ and their music mean to us that's why when my husband said he wanted to be "part of that happiness" and get tickets for last Friday's I just couldn't stop smiling.

Awesome story again!

Superb read, just amazing. I was thinking of creating a thread for my thoughts on those same 2 shows as they were my very first Bon Jovi shows and I travelled to London just as far as you did, but after reading your posts, I think it's unnecessary as there's no way I could top the stuff that you write, which is fantastic.

Thanks everyone for such a warm response to my review. I didn’t expect so many of you would read it to the end actually. But I just had to put it off my chest and share it with other people that I thought might understand me. And I thank you that you did indeed. I know that only real die-hards could understand me and not think I am some kind of a blind lunatic fan of the band

So just to fulfill the whole story I will back it up with the photos. Since I have exposed my soul completely I think it’s also time to finally show myself to you too. So here they are:

Me and Obie on the first night – 25th June, first chat and a reason of what was about to come later

That’s me writing that latter by the Thames River on Saturday afternoon. In fact I didn’t even notice that my wife took that picture. I was so focused on the message

That’s me with the finished letter, looking for Obie inside of the O2. On the front of the envelope I have written “ To Jon Bon Jovi from a die-hard fan from Poland”

And that’s the only proof I have that I actually passed this letter to him. My wife somehow managed to take a photo in the last seconds. She was quite far from us that’s why it’s not sharp. You can see Obie’s left hand reaching his back pocket – actually that’s the moment when he is putting my letter into that pocket. Thanks again, Obie May God bless you!

And for the finish here’s another video I managed to upload today. My second best of those 2 shows. Here it is.

Santa Fe, 25th June 2010

Great story Kuba!!! I really enjoyed reading it.
I'm quite curious which song was requested on the banners that Jon is speaing about right before starting few words of Prayer and playing These Days..
Thanks for the videos!
