Lack of announced acts for Hard Rock Calling

they are, they're the only other two confirmed acts, both playing on the sunday

There are loads of acts playing Hyde Park around the time too that they could have had to fit the bill too- Kings Of Leon, Pulp and Arcade Fire would have all easily been a headline act on one of the days as part of their tour, like with what BJ are doing.

The Kings Of Leon dates is what I would have expected Jovi to be doing (aside from IoW and the rescheduled O2 gig):

I would have excpected BJ to have played Sunderland and/or Coventry or similar too as they have done in the past.

It's very strange that they didn't add a Midlands show to the tour, it usually attracts a good crowd because it's handy to get to from North or South.

Agreed. That's why they were rumoured to headline Download Festival (it's east midlands). Well, that and Andy Copping (head booker) said a few months ago that he'd love to see them headline one year.

That's why Bristol is such an odd choice as it's an absolute arse to get to from almost anywhere...

Apparently there will be a big annoucement in a weeks time according to the HRC Twitter

Yeah they have got really lax on it, probably be the Friday headliner if anything
