I personally disagree. I really can't stand Train (if they play Hey Soul Sister which I'm sure they will I'll blow my brains out) and I'm spending $3000+ for the Dublin FC trip, so that would pretty much suck if they're opening. And while I don't like Ryan Star's songs I heard on the radio, live he was enjoyable and entertaining as a frontman, so I would be fine with him.

Really? Seb was right when I said I was getting a bargain. I'm paying $3000 for 7 Bon Jovi shows, and a tour across Europe with lots of sight seeing over the period of almost 4 weeks.. I'm also flying in from Canada.

some of the dates you've posted are wrong, the California ones are in July, not June, which leaves Train free of dates between the 18th of June and the 23rd of July (apart from HRC) so they could still open for Bon Jovi in the UK leg at least

fixed the dates.

So I guess they could tour the end of June through most of July.

Oh the $3000 is with airfare and other stuff included. Apparently the week of the package is THE most expensive flying week of the year, go figure, and the airfare is actually almost as much as the actual package, which is $1650. And that's 2 diamond ticket shows, too. I'm also really pumped for the Q&A with Jon.

But yes, you seem to have gotten a really great bargain.

I'm not sure where you get the "it's the most expensive flying week" thing, but there is no such a thing. 3000 dollar for 2 shows, airfare and something like 3 nights in hotel is ridiculously expensive. It's so overpriced and just shows that people rather spend a shitload of money on something like this than look it up for themselves.

I could get the entire Dublin trip sorted for half the money Backstage asked, and that did include 2 tickets for the shows as well. You shouldn't have to pay over 1000 dollars just to be in the same room with Jon and get to ask 1 question to him, then followed by 30 questions whether he rather wears boxers or briefs.

For the same money you're paying for this Dublin trip I organized a trip for 28 days through Europe, seeing 5 major cities and seeing 7 shows. No Diamond Circle tickets though, but Front of Stage or General Admission at least. That just goes to show how badly Backstage is handling this, they could do it a lot better for less money and still make as much profit.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Meh, I think they're an ok band and I enjoyed that one show a lot more than I enjoyed Train who were way over the top.
