Default Lay Your Hands On Me.

I'm sorry if this is common knowledge (I even tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything) but why hasn't LYHOM been played (regularly) since the Crush/OWN tours? Has a specific reason ever been given, or no?

It did get in to a few of Bounce shows on the summer leg, but not many. No reason has been given for it being dropped.

Should be great to get back instead of some older ones, always enjoyed this one.

It fails completly though when not enough energy is giving when performing live, that could be a reason

I was just watching it yesterday and was thinking how I really would like to see it back in the regular set. I personally haven't heard/seen it live since '95.

It has been slowed down quite a bit which takes some of the energy out of it live.

Still it has one of my favorite Richie solos ever!!

Richie playes it with a doubleneck guitar. They're heavy. Maybe his shoulder can't take it... He didn't use his doubleneck telecaster on Have A Nice Day.
That could be one reason.
Great live song!

I miss the song too on the setlist. But on the other hand I doubt if they could play it as powerfull as they did in 1995.

Yeah, I came to think about that myself later today. I think he used a silver guitar at Wembly when I saw them.
So, then I don't know...
