That's a shame but it's understandable. Will it be rescheduled some time?

I don't know if it's so understandable. A few of the concerts in NYC in 2001 were right after the attack. Tribute to Heroes was on Sept 21 only 10 days after the attack and Alliance of Neighbors was on Sept. 19th in Red Bank.

I would have thought that it would go ahead as planned - perhaps with a slightly altered message.

I feel the same way... surely not putting the show on is letting them win....

On second thought you guys are probably right. But they have to think about safety and stuff.

I have to disagree with you guys about the cancellation. I don't think this decision was made in haste. I'm sure the organizers who have spent months planning this Live Earth concert assessed the situation and thought that it was best not to put it on. I have to trust their opinion for the safety of the thousands that would be at the event.

So would the message go from "Use florescent lights, their better for the environment".

To an altered message of "We must kill the terrorists who did this before they attack us again"

I don't know if that was meant to be a joke but it wasn't very funny.

maybe the boys pulled out worried about their/others safety.... the venue would be a security risk if not policed properly, but unfortunately everythign where there is a lot of people is at risk now....
