Nothing. Some here fancy it 'cause Richie was still there, but it wasn't spectacular by any means either. In hindsight, compared to the Circle/Live 2011 run, there wasn't anything outstanding on the BWC tour for me.

The car stage was great. IMO Bon Jovi's still a great live band. I attended the Madrid show and had a blast. But anyway I don't think there will be a come back anytime soon. The Wanted speech says it all for me. We saw the end of a great band last night. It's a shame Sambora is such a dumbass. He belonged there tonight. Poor ****...

Still don't know how I feel about today. I remember being absolutely gutted that The Circle/GH tour was over. Today, I don't feel gutted that the tour is over one bit but a bit gutted about how things ended at the show. Jon's speeches don't hold out much hope for the band anymore. I know he didn't exactly say that they won't be back, but it was the whole 'not knowing where this road will take us' part. I'm sure there are a few reasons behind that...

Nothing about this tour has excited me. Yeah, the shows I went to I enjoyed and some performances were decent but no show in particular stands out to me. Over 2008-2011, so many shows stand out. On this one tour, nothing at all stands out for me. I couldn't care less about getting bootlegs or anything because Jons voice has just completely put me off.

If they do have a long break, which they do need too, then Jon needs to get a vocal coach as soon as possible. Not saying it will work wonders, but I'm sure they could help in some way. It can't as bad as it already does, surely?

Everyone except Rolo knows what we all want Richie to do. I want things sorted now that the tour is over. One of them needs to grow a pair of balls and sort it properly. Doesn't matter if Jon is the good guy or bad guy, or whether Richie is, one of them HAS to make the first move otherwise nothing will get sorted and it will probably get worse and worse.

Come back in a few years as a proper band again, sit down and write some decent music. None of this chasing the hit or a stadium anthem, no songs about what is going on in the world like the past few albums, just proper meaningful songs that actually stand out on albums like they used too. Songs that Jon can sing live (although pretty much anything on What About Now is what anyone should be able to sing) and some decent rock songs with solos and riffs/heavy drums. It can't be that hard to do, surely?

Jon also said the same at the end of the tour 2011. He not take long to get back into the studio. also remember the shows in 2012 as part of some festivals.

I think Jon hates his family and loves much the money.

Regarding the comparisons to Aerosmith.... I saw them live in Dublin in 2007 and it was the most disappointing concert I've ever been to.

The set had a grand total of 17 songs, including a one song encore. Very little crowd interaction. No Dude looks like a lady, no Janie's got a gun....

Can you imagine the reaction on here if Bon Jovi had performed a set with only 17 songs and hadn't played Wanted?

Jon is doing a little more than SPEAKING the words from what I have see on YT, his voice is SHOT and even he has to except it, It didnt bother me because of his abilities to have the crowd in his hands for the whole gig, but combined with his static performance today, he is burned out and looked jaded. Time to (as we all have said many posts away) go home, put your feet up for a few years and come back fighting WITH Sambora and with a an album/tour that kicks some ass again.......his voice will never ever be back to the slippery/New Jersey era, but I do think with rest and the right care it can be "acceptable" again.
Of course we all know he will be back at work within Months of gettin "home" but I hope. I think he has the sense to not to use the BON JOVI Machine for a good few years.

My fear is that he is as good as his word, in many many interviews he has stated that it would be over/STOPPED once it turned into nostalgia/reunion tours etc etc.....

I was at that show too but enjoyed it immensely as they were great live, albeit a short set with some key songs missing. Aerosmith's ''Wanted'' is actually ''Dream on'' or ''Sweet Emotion'' - which I mean as being the fan favourite/classic track that they nearly always play without fail. And they did it that night.

They were great live, Tyler all over the place and out on the catwalk thrusting himself into my face twirling his mic stand and scarfs all over the place and Perry doing a bit of theatrics with his guitar and some glitter etc. All part of the act sure and no emotional connection with the crowd that JBJ used to do so well, but still very impressive. More importantly, they *sounded* good. I watch Jon these days and actually worry with anticipation when I know certain notes are coming up and then cringe as he stays rooted to the spot trying to reach them.

The Jovi show in 08 was fantastic and beat Aerosmith's easily for me I do happily admit. This tour though however, the gulf between then and now is huge.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Have to agree with this. I enjoyed the shows I went to but they didn't even live up to the last tour - let alone trying to compare them with what they were in the early 90s.

C'mon Rolo, I don't think you really believe that. At least the part about his family.
