You're right, he hasn't taken care of his voice but your voice does change as you get older.

Even Tom Jones, who has taken exemplary care of his chords has had to change keys to cope with certain songs and his voice is in EPIC shape for his age. The voice drops, you get a lower tone but as a muscle, if you work it regularly, you’ll reap the rewards. Jon just doesn’t care when he’s not touring, he’s a philanthropist and I imagine singing is the last thing on his mind. I get the feeling that having a number one tour is about opening doors to people like Warren Buffett and the NFL.

PS: As a singer, it seems to me that Jon sometimes sings from the throat, as a point of habit and this doesn't help. His breathing is also shocking. Which suggests to me that he doesn't have a vocal coach out on the road with him.

The end of Always going to be dramatically unfortunate. Never Say Goodbye was more appropriate.

Phil does not get excited with the guitar, it is very boring, and no blast for me. This show lacks choirs without Sambora.

Are you actually listening to Phil playing? no, because you're blind.
