It ****ing rocked, probably the highlight of the night (after all the other highlights, which unfortunatly also came with some very very low pointss)

But it was just a great suprise, the band were well up for it. Coming out as a first encore I was so excited, I thought this was where they're going to show just how great Jovi are (after playing song for song the same set up to that point).....

But no, then into Captain Crash... *sigh* such an increadible high followed by such a huge gigantic low.... I was actually too upset with Captain Crash to even slighly enjoy Bad Medicine. They could have done Homeboudn Train but Captain Crash would have stripped it of it's power! It really did kill the concert dead.

I was sying afterwards, even keep Captain Crash in, but replace it with Runaway, i.e cc 3rd, runaway 2nd-to-last. Runaway was probably realistically the best part of the concert, I was listening to it thinking (Jon's voice is different, but the way the band are doing it this could be 1987!).... That kind of sums up I think the whole performance. Increadible today actually, Richie especially, but also Jon, he was good (although again a lack of screams and walkes in jungles), it really was just an apauling set list....It was a 2h20 show, but could have been played in 1h30, if not even in one hour!

Deffinatly better than Wolverhampton, The Distance was better (I actually liked it this time ), Someday I[ll Be Saturday Night was very good (shown the difference between Jon hot and Jon not) and Lola....

Richie actually seemed even better if it's possible for this show, I'll Be There for you was increadible, his guitar work was just..wow!

It needs to get a lot better than this, a LOT better. Even at the end, they stayed out longer than usual, reminded me of MK (even though they were always going to do Prayer). David particularly seemed to be staring at the crowd, as if to suggest they;re going to do one more. But it just never came, yet they had time, they had the crowd (despite Captain Crash), and the band were up for it, what happened?

I haven't been able to post properly all afternoon. I kept getting a white screen and when I looked I didn't see the post so I assumed it hadn't gone through. Now that I checked back this evening there I am in all my impatience
Sorry
Kathleen
