Yea of course whatever album they're promoting on tour is going to take up most songs on the sets. The only thing with the sets is the acoustic version of I'd die for you, for me i don't want that song unplugged, it's to raw and powerful. Even in these arms, but this is pretty good acoustically. Different times people different album.

Or decent job or a helpin' hand
Wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free
Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

To me these setlists are 'spectacular' because they have BOBITA (although ITA is acoustic, which isn't as great as the electric version), not because of the number of These Days songs. But then again, once I hear BOBITA, I can even stomach that song where Jon is singing like a child throwing a tantrum in the chorus (All I Want Is Everything).

With BOBITA, I can deal with this kind of encores:
Encore 2:
27. Something To Believe In
28. Hey God
29. My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms

Hey God isn't that bad actually, it's song 27 and 29 that I hate.

**Marching Band Intro**
Lay Your Hands On Me - Nice
Bad Medicine*Gloria - Nothing special
All I Want Is Everything - Not that great
You Give Love A Bad Name - Nothing Special
Runaway - Nothing Special
Wild Is The Wind - Yes please
Lie to me - Yuck/Yawn
Rockin' All Over The World - Yuck
Diamond Ring (Jon a capella) - Nice
Damned - Nice
Blood On Blood - Nice
Wanted Dead Or Alive (acoustic) - NO
Never say goodbye (acoustic) - Meh
In These Arms (acoustic) - Meh
Something For The Pain - Meh
Someday I'll be Saturday Night - Yes please
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead*Papa Was A Rolling Stone*Brown Sugar - Nothing special
Keep The Faith - Yes please

ENCORE1:
Drift away - Meh
Always - Yes please
Blaze Of Glory - Nothing special
These Days - Nice

Encore2:
Something to believe in - Doesn't work that well live, IMO
My guitar lies bleeding in my arms - See above
Hey God - Nice

ENCORE3:
Rockin' in the free world - Yes please
Stranger In This Town (Richie) - Meh
Livin' on a Prayer - Nothing Special

Encore4:
(It's hard) Letting you go**fireworks** - Doesn't work that well live

In other words: what is so special about this set and the other you posted? I love TD, but most of the songs just don't work that well live except Hey God, These Days, and Damned. I'd take Lost Highway album cuts over These Days album cuts any day.

Here is a better set: April 22, 2008 Sprint Center, Kansas City

1. Lost Highway - Nice, though not the best opener
2. Born To Be My Baby - Yes please, where is at in 95/96?
3. You Give Love A Bad Name - Nothing special
4. One Wild Night - Win
5. Runaway - Nothing special
6. Just Older - Great addition
7. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Gimme Some Lovin / Start Me Up - Nothing special
8. Blood Money - Great addition
9. Blaze Of Glory (with Chris Daughtry) - Slightly different, but nothing special
10. Whole Lotta Leavin' - Yes please
11. Misunderstood - Nice
12. Always - Nice

13. We Got It Goin' On - Works very well live, very fun
14. It's My Life - Underrated live song, nice
15. Bad Medicine / Shout - Nothing special, though I'll take Shout over Gloria
16. I'll Be There For You (Richie Sambora on lead on vocals) - underappreciated
17. (You Want To) Make A Memory - works well live, better than all TD love ballads
18. Bed Of Roses (This Left Feels Right version) - Not as good as the original, but this gets way too much hate
19. Who Says You Can't Go Home - Great live song this tour without the "it's alrights"
20. Have A Nice Day - Best live song written this decade by the band
21. Hey God - Yes please
22. Living On A Prayer - Nothing special

Encore:
23. I Love This Town - Great live song
24. Wanted Dead Or Alive - ELECTRIC, the way it should be done

Much better setlist, IMO. The TD album and tour gets way too much praise around here. I'd take most LH tour sets over these two TD sets.

It's never too much in this case.

It's much closer to the original than the TLFR version of Always. For that, I'll agree with you. BoR TLFR isn't that bad, IMO.

Why couldn't they have filmed and broadcasted the May 20th show on WOW tv in japan. That setlist has everything for me, except I Believe, but nothing is perfect. What I would pay to see that show done today, even if Jon couldn't hit all the notes, nothing short of amazing.

On the side, since Open All Night was played this tour for the first time, even though it was on Bounce, any chance you think we will hear songs from other albums that never got played....Hearts Breaking Even or If That What It Takes?

I believe that show was missing Blood On Blood.

Some sense of musical depth, being willing to stray from the path of party songs, every arrangement and medly arranged to wring-out the maximum excitement, 11 song encores.

All I'm going to say is that if you have actually seen half the songs you dissed performed live, you were 10 at the time. It may explain why you'd prefer to see We Got it Going On than Stranger in this Town, Drift Away, Something for the Pain and Something to Believe In.

And you even say meh to Never Say Goodbye.

In short, you lack credibility

Here is a worse set.

I don't think it's credibility, it's just a matter of preference.
I actually prefer We Got It Going on over Something To Believe In, but that's because I hate the latter.
I still prefer Something For The Pain over anything in Lost Highway except I Love This Town. Jon should bring this legendary song from These Days back!

It's not the only thing he's lacking, but who would expect something else from someone who says he's only here for the sheer comedy value of the board?
