When I've seen more mid-tempo bands (like R.E.M. for instance) I've found it harder to get into. So fo those of you that have so far heard LH live (especially the shows where they've played the full album, 'cause they may just do that at the last Twicks show - don't think they will in Glasgow 'cause it'll die there), is there any songs that are - you know, uhm, BOUNCY from the new album when it's played live?

Maybe this is what all you were meaning about it "not rocking" and I'm finally coming to realise that.
The night they played the whole album was one of the best shows that I've seen. There was more energy on this night than on many of the other Newark nights.

If they do this at a concert that you go too - I think you will enjoy it.

Let me post what I wrote the morning after the 9th Newark show when they had first played LH in its entirety: (Just as some background - I had said a few days before this that I would leave if they attempted the entire album - I'm not fond of this album at all)

Ok folks - I was one of the ones complaining about them playing the entire album. The way they did it was excellent - it surprised me. Strangers without LeAnn is actually a decent song.

However I have only one thing to say about this show - they left it all on the stage tonight - all of them - but Jon especially. It was not even remotely phoned in. THIS was the band I fell in love with. No there weren't a bunch of rarities but the energy from the stage was awesome. And Jon singing IBTFY made a lot of people happy - I saw tears.

Jon did a lot of talking and really connected with the audience - I am delighted that I was there. Richie didn't sing solo at all and Jon did the first part before the encore straight through.

It will be a while before I will be able to sleep. One more night to go
