Default Love's The Only Rule - Anaheim

Hey, I've been bitching about the set lists enough. Only fair I give props where deserved. Kickass performance here:

And Jon got the lyrics correct at the end of the 1st chorus too.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Kickass performance!!

I had hoped The band would giv this song the attention it deserves, and so far it seems like they have....

This could have been a modern anthem saving the circle from the steady drop in sales it has, it could have been a it definetly.....

Agreed.

I fell in love with this straight away. best song on the record for me and such a shame it wasn't the 1st single. I think it could've been huge.

I LOVE this song. I't my current Texttone on my phone, I listen to it daily, and I think it may be the best song of the decade from this band. That all being said, it wouldn't have been a successful single imo.

I once heard Jon say in an interview (something along this line) that he wanted to connect with fans in the crowd to make the show special for them. This video is just a prime example of that and I applaud him.

I think if promoted right it could have been the Who says of 2010 for the band(I mean this as in the impact the song made, not the country thing). It offers something new, but you can tell it's classic Jovi aswell. Plus it's original enough that it may atract lost fans of this decade.
I've always said that either this song, or Thorn in my side could make great singles, but TIMS kinda drags a bit in the chorus so maybe that's not such a good idea.

From a US standpoint (which is all I can really give) I just don't see it. The only stations where new Bon Jovi really gets any play are the Hot AC stations, and those stations played WWBTF and are playing ST. Top 40 Radio really won't touch them, and they won't have the huge country market, that was the only reason WSYCGH was able to break so big in the first place.

This song at both shows in Seattle was the highlight for me, even if he flubbed the words a bit at those shows. I love it!!!

Thanks for the link Dan.
