Default Madrid Show

This evening Bruce is going to play in Gelsenkirchen so I think there'll no duet this evening.
See you all in Zürich!

errm......as far as i know all tour dates of Mark Knopfler have been cancelled I was going to go and see him, but the shows have been cancelled

Shit! It would have been cool and a good treat for the Spanish fans.

My car isn't smoking anymore, at least as long as I don't drive more than 10 minutes at a time

EXACTLY!!! It was a hell of a show. Now I'm even more looking forward to see BJ in Gelsenkirchen next week!!! Wow, I still can't hear very well again (especially in the beginning the sound was pretty bad and veeery loud).

please noone accuse me of going off topic, but just look at the sets for these 2 Bruce shows. Bare in mind these were consecutive shows and yet look at the differences (he's been doing this virtually every show):

May 19 / Madrid, Spain / Estadio De La Comunidad (La Peineta)
Notes: A special-guest trifecta in Madrid. For Elliott Murphy's third show on the Rising tour, he once again plays on "Born to Run," as well as the ultra-rare "Better Days" and "Dancing in the Dark." "Dancing" features Springsteen manager Jon Landau on guitar as well. Max's daughter Ali plays keyboards on "Ramrod." The 26-song show also includes "Candy's Room", "My Love Will Not Let you Down," "Jungleland," "Cadillac Ranch," and "Darlington County" to close a 9-song encore.
Setlist: The Rising/Lonesome Day/Prove It All Night/Candy's Room/My Love Will Not Let You Down/Empty Sky/You're Missing/Waitin' on a Sunny Day/Better Days (with Elliott Murphy)/The Promised Land/Worlds Apart/Badlands/Out in the Street/Mary's Place/Countin' on a Miracle/Jungleland/Into the Fire
First Encore: Cadillac Ranch/Bobby Jean/Glory Days/Born to Run (with Elliott Murphy)/Ramrod (with Ali Weinberg)
Second Encore:My City of Ruins/Land of Hope and Dreams/Dancing in the Dark/Darlington County

May 17 / Barcelona, Spain / Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys
Notes: As the tour returns to Barcelona on May 17, Patti returns to the stage, for her first show of the 2003 European leg. "Sherry Darling" has its tour premiere, with additional rarities "My Love Will Not Let You Down," "Because the Night," "Jungleland," and "Hungry Heart."
Setlist: The Rising/Lonesome Day/The Ties That Bind/My Love Will Not Let You Down/Empty Sky/You're Missing/Waitin' on a Sunny Day/Sherry Darling/The Promised Land/Worlds Apart/Badlands/Out in the Street/Mary's Place/Because the Night/Jungleland/Into the Fire
First Encore: Bobby Jean/Ramrod/Born to Run/Hungry Heart/Detroit Medley
Second Encore:My City of Ruins/Land of Hope and Dreams/Dancing in the Dark
