2h20 max... and that's including some of the video they play because I didn't look at my watch straight away... They came on either dead on, or slighly after 8, but I think it was slighly longer....

What a boring set list. I was upset watching it. I knew it was being done better than at Wolverhapton, but I was saying to myself "this song now" and I was right everytime If I'm correct, the song order was also identical....

Oh, aparently Jon did "2,3,4," for It's my Life, which set Laura & taija of in hysterics, which aparently filtered through to the band as well

In these Arms was very funny actually. Jon went over to David for the second verse, and held his microphone up (on the stand) to David's mic for him to sing. He had his head down at the time and didn't notice a thing... So we're all watching him playing on, with this mic poking at him him oblivious to anything. He missed more or less the whole verse, but when he realised what Jon was doing he just started from the start of the second verse. It was very funny, and made the song interesting

Introducing the band was better.... More or less everybody around me (including me of course) were chanting "tico tico tico" when he was introduced, and kept it going for a while, so Jon made a second point at how great tico was. Quite a few things like that, where he was obviously really thriving of the reception the band was getting. I can't believe they didn't do more, play longer, all the signs were pointing that way.

Lola felt very special, particularly as it was the first encore (i.e seemed to suggests things were going to happen that never did ). It really did rock, but unfortunatly was just not enough.

It's like I was saying the other night, just throw in 3-4 songs. It's not a big deal for the band to do, but it's the difference thinking a show is okish, or thinking it's the best thing you've ever seen. If after Lola they'd have played Lay your Hands on Me, then Blood on Blood, then say Something to Believe In, it would have made the concert special... Like saying yeah we've done the set for you, now lets have some fun with the encors....

Jon made a very funny comment before the Distance though... "they said to me before can you bend it like Beckham, I said maybe I can tie it in knots" - Rock on Jon!!!!!

first timer review.....

not quite what id expected... managed to get to front of General standing, and was about halfway back... the huge spac at the back of the gold pit was annoying cause we coiuld have been there but hey.... they rocked. richie especially. i got home 20 minutes ago and am going to bed soon (in 10 minutes...)
especially enjoyed in these arms and born to be my baby.
having around 60,000 ish people al singig likethat is a completely new experience for me.... a good one though. i would have loved to have been in gold at the front....

would have liked to have seen joey, but its okay.
the energy in the show was amazing.... stage presence yes.
one comment i owulfd have made though is that the firs three songs were slower than they should have been, and the vocals werent loud enough to carry.

one thing i will say, and call me unknowledgable, but it is the first time ive heard them live, and that is BOY CAN DAVid SING!!!!!! bring it on son! i was blown away by that.....

the other minor criticism i would make is that they didnt acknowledge all the crowds at all.... all the attention went to the gold standing peopel and the seated people on line with the walkway..... not een a hello to the rest of the stadium,.....

anyway will comment when have had chance to think about it, but if they keep their promise of returning, i may well do the same,

a very tired
