Default Matt just suspended my Twitter Account

Last week, I created a Twitter account after Matt mentioned that there were "tons of junk in the air" in Bulgaria. I decided to reply to him so I told him it was not junk but pollen and that I don't like him offending my country in Twitterland, so I asked him not to write such stuff. I was amazed to learn this morning that my account has been suspended "for following other users too aggressively".

These guys just do not accept any critic. And I had intended to accuse the band of setting double standards for certain shows in Europe - something we have already discussed in the Munich tread. However, I will have to keep quiet because if I complain to him once again, my account would certainly be eradicated for good.

Has anyone had a similar problem before?

That sucks man, but its not the only source of censorship occurring. They're trying to edit Richie out of pics on certain websites.

No, but I can imagine him being behind it indeed, the man is such a keyboard warrior.

I'd contact Twitter and explain the issue, counter report the issue and say he's done the same thing with others. Who knows, maybe Twitter will contact him in return.

Sebastiaan

the sooner they realize that Matt is just a prick the better. They need to give more attention to the "public relations" side of the band. It has always been pretty bad but... I dont know, I remember times when Obie used to answer questions on their web and he seemed a cool guy. He doesnt have a clue about mixing live stuff IMO but at least you can talk to him. Matt on the other side...

Thank you for the advice, Seb. I am really new to Twitter and I did not expect such a high level of censorship. I still haven't ticked the square beside the "solemn pledge not to behave this way again", so I will definitely dispute the suspension and see what comes out of it. It is high time somebody taught Matt a lesson.

I rarely use Twitter simply because there's too many people like Matt on there. I doubt you as an individual will be able to teach him a lesson though. Just realize that down the line he is still only his brother's rather unimportant employee and his only succes in life is actually being Jon's brother. I know he gets on everyone's nerves, but in the end he seems to be in a dire need of approval from Bon Jovi fans, so needless to say the guy has issues.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Lol i remember seeing his response on twitter. Having lived in the United States for many years, i can say that "junk" in this case really wasn't meant in an offensive way. It's the same thing as saying "stuff" or "things" in the air but instead he used the word "junk". However, i am not here to defend Matt. Just trying to explain.

If he did report you for that though he deserves to be reported!

Yep... this ^^

I know you took his comment as a personal slight on your country but it wasn't, 'junk' is a slang term and if I remember correctly, someone (not saying it was you) responded with a tirade of sweary insults to him. I remember thinking it was slightly unnecessary, just ignore him.
