Reading this, I am so thankful I got my ticket early. I would have missed out otherwise!

I feel for everyone that didn't get tickets.

I can't believe that everything for Melbourne is gone - like every single nosebleed even.

I don't think a 2nd show will be announced though, it would have been done straight away and I don't see how the schedule will work with the stage.
Unless they did another show without the circle set up maybe. But I can't see it happening

Someone on backstage posted that...

Ticketmaster confirmed that 30 000 tickets were sold pre today, and only 20 000 available today.

Ticketmaster headoffice in Melbourne confirmed no chance of second concert.

Cant believe presales/competitions got 3/5 of the tickets!

Thats what shocked me too the amount of presale tickets. I never imagined it would be that many I thought it was a much much smaller amount.
If people had realised I am sure they would have tried for tickets earlier.

If we get enough people involved we can help turn this around! So many people are disappointed and the band ultimately wouldn't want that!

i'll definitely join but i know the amount of petitions we've done over the years that have fallen on deaf ears. i am sad for those that missed out but losing hope of them announcing another show. And the amount of presales were ridiculous: bon jovi presale, etihad members presale, mastercard presale, ticketmaster presale...seriously!! behind all this though, i'm damn impressed jovi sold out 50,000 tickets so quickly! so give us another show!!

If they do that ^^^^^...it had bloody well better be in Adelaide...no offense to the rest of you but at least your cities got gigs.

Thanks...gets to be a right pain in the arse to have to fork out the additional expenses of travelling, accommodation...but what can you do...Dainty have stated on their Face book page there can not be an Adelaide show despite the fabulous response of the FB pages trying to get them here etc...Dainty have also stated that it was not them, they tried very hard to put Adelaide on the map to the band while finalising this part of the tour, but it was the band who would not budge on coming to Adelaide...why???...who knows...we have a GREAT gig record here...per head of population, we blow every other mainland city out of the water...utterly and completely [this is the city where musically some of the nations and the world's best hark from...Cold Chisel...AC/DC...still such is life.]
I had long ago decided if there were no Adelaide gig, then I would not be travelling interstate...not this time, so I am good with it...I feel really sorry for the ones who missed out on tickets to the other shows in Oz today, and to the ones who put the petition to get them here as well...they are determined not to give up, I have not the heart to tell them to let it go....it is a lost cause now. [methinks it always was to be honest]
On a brighter note, my eldest daughter, who was trying for Melb this morning, went after Sydney night 2 and pulled 2 exceptional seats for $200 each [which is a very acceptable and sensible price for a BJ ticket]...she is stoked as she has long wanted to go to Sydney...'kill 2 birds with one stone'
