So I hung around and went to all three merchandising areas after the show and that t-shirt wasn't in evidence. I now think it was something being sold outside the venue somewhere. I was surprised that there weren't any programs for sale as I thought every tour had a program. [Although I must admit I bought programs for the last tours through their website and hated them.] I think their merchandising leaves a lot to be desired but they are raking in the $$$$$.
There were definitely programs, I bought one for $25. The cover is the artwork for the Because We Can single.

Scenario:
Bon Jovi announce a Tour. London Date gets announced in January. I get the Ticket. By The Way, I live in London. The show's in July. I've got from now 'til July to sort my finances out (with the income I get) if I want to spend on Merch, Food etc..... By planning now, I stay away from being in Debt. It's not Rocket Science
There you go. I've been saving for 2 years, and I intend to get another truckload of merch like last time!

Kinda pathetic to be honest - spending that much money on crap. How about sell your car?

It's her money. She can spend it however she wants. Who is anyone around here to judge?

Damn right Becky. Deep down us guys all wish we'd be able to afford the hoodies, t-shirts, socks and boxershorts just so we'd all be able to prance around with Jon's face on our cross, ass, chest. back and feet.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

You're right, however I think what everyone is finding dumb about her post is that she even said she grumbles about how expensive the merchandise is yet continues to buy truck loads of it every tour.

To be fair though, most of us tend to moan about something relating to this band and yet, for one reason or another, we keep the faith and spend the money...

They look terrible.

Price wise aside, they've completely missed a trick with this tour as the album art work lends itself to coming up with some brilliant designs.

If I ever buy band tee's it's either from bootleggers on eBay or outside of the venue as apart from being cheaper, they usually come up with much cooler designs. It baffles me why anyone would want to walk around with an album cover or a picture of someone on their gear. Just looks daft to me.

I couldn't agree more Jim. I am apparently in the minority but I LOVE the album artwork and I was looking forward to a cool tshirt with it incorporated somehow.

Blah is what I think about what they do have.

The artwork is the only redeeming thing about the album if you ask me. I didn't realise a lot of people didn't like it.

Suppose they were hoping for a photo of the guys in leather jackets and shades pouting?
