I didnt know it was a yeart already...... I think they would say something especially as they are at O2 when it should have been MJ.

Who knows maybe they will sing a Jacko song... anything from ABC era , personally I would like to here a BJ version of The way you make me feel....

The band played Summerfest in Milwaukee on the day that MJ died and did not mention it. I guess I'd be surprised by a mention a year later.

Don't we all want to see Jon cut sick and do an MJ cover?

Seriously though, they pulled off Duffy didn't they?

But given they're playing where MJ was supposed to be, largely because he couldn't, it might just crack a mention.

Time zones mean it was the 25th where/when he died.

Was deffo the 25th. Remember looking out for any mention on the PBP for that night but nothing, which I was surprised at tbh, one of the biggest artists of a generation could have got a mention. I think it would be fun if they cut an MJ song as the jukebox song.

I'd be seriously surprised if Jon would do that. He's filling in the dates for Jackson, has got a shitload of critisism over doing so and has always said he doesn't like any Michael Jackson song after the Jackson 5. The man is seriously clueless when it comes to the issue and it'd be wrong for him to do so after he slagged off Michael Jackson so many times.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I hope he doesn't. I'm gonna go through a hard day as it is. Only going to this show as it's the penultimate night and we might get a rarity. Hoping the show can give me some escapism after spending the day with MJ fans

/this. My guess is Jon is afraid of associating himself with the "controversial" Michael Jackson, probably thinks he's being a good role model by distancing himself. That's why he blew off MJ at that award ceremony a few years back. So, no MJ mentions.

Though I'd love to see them do a cover of Beat It. Ah well.

Also, he actually said he preferred the Jackson 5? Sounds like someone was trying to be competitive. Asshole. Guess he can't get over the fact that MJ was infinitely the better artist.

I doubt they'd do/mention anything. Frankly, it doesn't bother me. Saying something would be cheap IMO. Though Billie Jean in Bad Rx would be pretty cool.
