I could have sworn you've misquoted him.

I thought he said "there was a magic here tonight", and "I'll count this last one in".

That's what Jon said indeed. It looks like the original poster of this topic wants to get a fight.

I think its all down to how each person was feeling to how they persceive the show

He did not change the words, he did not have a go at the crowd, and you could tell they were happy with the night. The band were really into it Sunday, as was the crowd, so please stop stirring.

He did - I remember thinking it would be the last song after he said that but it wasn't

Yes, this poster is stirring it up indeed.

I was in GC on the saturday, and way way wayyy back in GA for the sunday night, and it was my favourite Bon jovi gig ever - and i've been to several.
The crowd were great on sunday, and the band were THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN THEM that night, and i've seen them play some blinding gigs (especially their last 4 Dublin syhows)

The band were on fire on sunday, Jon was very much into it as were ALL the band, and even the GA where i was was mental, and like i've said i've been to many Jovi shows and this ranks at probably the best even with me being so far back in the bowl.

I sometimes wonder what gig some people where at.

JBJ - I believe

I was in gold circle both nights and each night the crowd was pretty dang loud from where I stood. I thought Sunday might have been a tad more wild.

Everyone thought Milton Keynes Sunday was great and it was a fantastic show and I have seen them at Milton Keynes 4 times before (1989, 1993, 1996 and 2001) but you could tell they wanted a better reaction from the crowd (more like the reaction they had on Saturday) maybe they were filming for a live DVD and Jon could tell that apart from the inner Gold/Fan Club circle a lot of the people at the sides and back didn’t know the newer songs and just stood there, (but to be honest there were sound regulators at the back of the bowl making sure it wasn’t too loud for the local people living nearby so you couldn’t really hear it that well back there) Check out Jon changing the words in The Last Man Standing to "the magic wasn't here tonight" and the "thanks for coming" he said at the end of the gig instead of "you've been great, thanks for coming" I kid you not.

I guess if the rumours were true and they had hired a professional film crew to film that night instead of Saturday you would be a bit pissed off if the crowd weren't as crazy as the night before, add to this the fact that a couple of nights later they played Hull and it was a half empty stadium and being tired from so many shows in a week then you have a rational reason for them being a bit miffed!

Hull was just one gig too many and only went on sale a couple of months ago when most of the general public already had tickets for lots of the other shows.

Lets hope if they do only play one UK show next year its Wembley Stadium and not part of a tour but just a huge one off spectacular gig to open Wembley.

Everyone has bad days, maybe they will right a song about it one day!

There were no plans to film Milton Keynes so that's complete rubbish.
IF there is to be a DVD I'm sure it will be Giants.
Anywa, your the first to suggest that jon was disappointed with the crowd on Sunday.
