Default Milwaukee PBP

I just got home and didn't see a thread for tonight's show in Milwaukee. According to Backstage, here's what has been played so far:

LOST HIGHWAY
BAD NAME
Raise your Hands
RUNAWAY
COMPLICATED
SLEEP w/ Dancin' In The Streets
RADIO
BLOOD ON BLOOD
SUMMERTIME
Knocking on Heavens Door - BLAZE OF GLORY
Whole Lotta Leavin'
Born To Be My Baby
WE GOT IT GOIN ON
ITS MY LIFE
BAD MEDICINE with Shout
I'll Be There For You (Richie)
MAM
Bed of Roses
Have A Nice Day
Keep The Faith
Who Says You Can't Go Home (evidently with a false start due to JBJ messing up the lyrics)
Prayer

Encore
Wanted
ILTT

EDIT -- sorry guys, I missed Sleep last night. I added it above.

I thought the same thing. That always improves a setlist as far as I'm concerned!

Aloha !

"We can play 100 songs, so it's really spontaneous, we have lots of surprises!"

And then they only change 1 song.

Salaam Aleikum,

it is true that setlists should be more diversified.

It is true often discussed here and i agree that in most shows jon plays it very safe. And rarities are expected to appear in certain shows. Like Toronto, Munich,London and Jersey.

Though take into account some things

- Jon's voice is, at everybody's regret not what used to be... not even close. I believe this fact limits very much the band's choices.

- they have not played songs of "B.J" or "7800 Fahreneit" for like almost 20 years, other than runaway, and a few very very rare exceptions like tokyo road or in and out of love.

- They play most of slippery album.

So ... Songs that i'd love to hear more often are:
- Wild is the Wind, livin in sin , stick to yr guns
- I believe, Dry county
- saturday night
- any songs from the These days album, except " love song"
- some good old covers.
- cut the country, violins stuff. Play "Any other day".
- Bring back the " interaction ", " us against the world" attitude. Though this
comes from the heart... its not something programmed...
