Actually, they played Compicated as well. I think it was somewhere around In These Arms. I am 100% positive it was played early in the set though because I was singing along. Good show overall. In These Arms got some good cheers afterwards. Bells of Freedom did not seem to "ring" with the crowd very well. I thought Welcome was better live than on the record.

I don't remember what show it was at, but Jon said that ITA had been requested one night and he'd enjoyed playing it since, so it's a wonder they don't play it more often.

Did anyone here go to Milwaukee or St. Paul? There is a thread on Backstage saying Richie was having another "off night", not very into the shows. Was wondering if anyone was there and can comment?

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I'm interested in how Jon sounded during ITA (listening to the album version now....wait for it - Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy) in addition to wondering if Richie had an off night.

I went to both shows this weekend, Richies playing was excellent!!! He was a little low key as far as interaction in minneapolis, I got the impression he was sriously concentrating on his playing, semed like the whole band was. I just figured after the messups in Toronto Tues night, they were trying to get it right. They did by the way .

Minneapolis highlights:

Blood on blood- I haven't heard this one live in some time, it was tight!!! Whatever Jon did for this tour to make his voice better, it's working he sounded better than when I saw them in November and I was very impressed then.
Never Say Goodbye- I was so amazed when I heard the beginning of this song and so excited that they were playing it!!! Best as I can recall, it seemed like a sort of stripped down version of the original, kind of like BOG is this tour, not completely acoustic but not full blown either. For me this song has always been made or broken by Jon's vocals and on Fri night this song came out beautifully.

Milwaukee highlights- What was going on this weekend??? ITA in the middle of the main set!!! Jon's comment when introducing this one was something to the effect of "this is for the diehards and the faithful". Since I don't want Yoma to jump off a bridge or anything all I'll say about this one is it was well done.
BOF- Live this one is a really good song, but I do think unless you are a seroius BJ fan and know what this one is about and where it comes from, the meaning behind it is vague and to a casual fan probably doesn't mean much.
Welcome- Finally I got to hear this one live!!! To be honest I was only going to Minneapolis this weekend but when they didn't play this one there, I made a middle of the night decision to go to Milwaukee, betting they wouldn't go two nights without putting it in. This was awesome live!!! Jon hit his notes on it and from where I was in the venue it went over very well.

Richie seemed fine in Milwaukee he interacted with Jon and it seemed like he was doing some interacting with the crowd on his side but I was on the other side of the arena from him so someone closer probably has a better indication. He sounded great, his playing wa excellent.
