Wink Went to Milwaukee show

The Milwaukee show was wonderful. I was thrilled when they played ITA. I had no clue they were going to do it, and I've got to say - it was incredible. Somebody asked about Richie...I thought he seemed fine...probably not the best I'd ever seen him, but he played great.

Default Milwaukee show

Wow - I went to the show last night and my head is still playing about 3 songs at once. I took my dad for his Christmas present and it was great. I went to the show in Madison and I thought that the Milwaukee show definitely had a better set list - but since my seats were so much better and the guards in Madison let us go up to the front rail - I think it is a tie. There is nothing like being front row to Bon Jovi, but the Milwaukee show had a bunch of fun twists. I thought that Jon was more dramatic and funny at the Milwaukee show which I liked. At one point he told everyone that we were going in a time machine and he dramatically counted down from 2006 to 1982 and then yelled STOP!!! Then he went in to singing Runaway. It was great. My favorite was Bed of Roses because last time I heard him play that was in 1992. Even though they always do Bad Medicine, this performance was the best I had every seen them do. I thought that Richie had a lot of energy - he did a duet with Jon (I think to I'll be There for You) and he sang part of Wanted Dead or Alive. I can not get over their energy!!! Are they human? They must have incredible trainers and hours put into getting in shape for these shows because they give their all to each and every song non-stop for 2 hours. Another plus to the show is that they started on time (even much earlier then I thought). Same with Madison. So if your going to one of their upcoming shows, don't get in line for a beer or something in between the opening act and the show because there is not a long break. I loved the beginning to the Milwaukee show - Jon started in the back of the floor (opposite the front stage) so the audience all turned around to see him. And then he walked from the back to the stage on Richie's side of the arena. So if he starts in the back and you want to get close, go towards the left of the stage because he'll be walking that way. Ok, enough babbling but I'm still charged about it

He said it at Yokohama 19-01-2003 too. I was wondering exactly the same thing.

Thankfully the encore had BOB, becasue otheriwse it would have been a very very bad one - two ballads in a row and two from the new album. I like the lyrics of Welcome, but I'd rather hear Bounce to open with so you get a rock song and not a ballad as an opener. I don't like BOF.

I really really wonder how ITA sounded. Hopefully a bootleg will show up or a small file made with a digicam.

What were the mess-ups then? I've missed those three treads. I've read almost all, but I didn't read those, because I alraedy knew WITW and LIS were played and wowsers, those songs are awesome! Those 2 and ITA are probable my "wish" song for this tour, because I don't think they'll play Dry County live again .

NSG somewhere between acoustic and electric. Must have sounded pretty special then. Was it a "new" version like BOG?

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Aijaijai, the 2nd time that happenned of what we know - 1st time Richie started playing BTBMB insteed of TRSMLT.

[qoute]hugh messed something up[q/uote] Wow, that doesn't happen often )especially not that you get to see/hear it) and the same goes for Tico. Tico rocks !

Poor Tico . It was probable Jon's fault dancing and doing moving around strangely with his arms .

However, they made up for these mistakes when they played LIS. I hope there's a bootleg of it out there somewhere, and the same goes for ITA. Woehoe, I love that song! The best power rock ballad ever!

Default Milwaukee show

The Milwaukee show was phenominal....I already did a review.
They did an audible for this show as well, on the big screen you could see the set list by David and they were to play Wild in the Streets before Wanted, but instead Jon turned toward someone in the back and mouthed Blood on Blood. I know because we had good seats near Richie.
The show was great, I think that they were in a hurry to get going. the reason i say this is they played 2-4 songs less than a few previous shows and when they were done they didn't mingle on stage and throw out pics and wave etc!!
They did the customary bow and were gone.
