3 cover songs.....several shows they have played 4 covers.....what is with that? Play your own songs, there are plenty of them.

I'd imagine when you're Jon Bon Jovi there must be plenty of people willing to change them for you

I was at the show. From the looks of it, the first was better but I still had a great time. Jon's voice is holding up really well and he works the crowd as good as anyone. I must say that the lack of both Faith and Saturday Night disappointed me.

Yes as I said before, those 2 songs are probably, IMO, the only ones wich never bore me live and should always be in the set. Just isnt a 'complete' setlist without.
Can't think of a reason why especcialy these 2 songs are dropped...

He sang KTF in Philly this tour with NO problems at all. So, I don't think it's that hard for him to sing. In an article from the Washington Post, I read today he was quoted as saying,

"Bon Jovi admits he thought about making the show "much darker if I chose to get into 'Keep the Faith' and 'Something to Believe In' and 'Hey God' and those kind of songs that were a little more introspective and dark and angry. But I thought to myself, 'Is that really what I want to be doing in the middle of December leading up to Christmas in these big arenas, or should I keep it really upbeat and optimistic and lighthearted?' And I thought, 'You know what? People are going to be leaving that arena going, "Wow, I've just had the best time," so I needn't get up there and start pounding my chest and telling you about my viewpoint on things."

Here's the link to the entire article:

it would really surprise me that he nailed it completely....its really hard to hear clearly and most times its drowned out by the crowd and other stuff...but watching keep the faith in new york at nokia....it was obvious that he cant handle the chorus anymore but he was trying which is what really matters...and saying that he doesnt play stbi or hey got cause christmas is coming is plain dumb cause they dont play those whatever time of year it is....and keep the faith isnt seen as a dark song live, its energetic and puts the crow into it.

not trying to complain or anything, keep the faith may sound ok, but jon saying its dark and christmas is coming is just hidin the fact that he cant sing it anymore

Philly sounded WAAAAY better than Nokia, I can promise you that. He did struggle at the Nokia show but Philly was nothing like that at all (and I heard fiine and was paying special attention to the chorus and whether or not he struggled with it) so don't base him not singing the song on thinking he can't sing it. KTF is a personal favorite and I want to hear it more but I think in this case it comes down to he doesn't want to do it.

im sure he can still sing it....but it would just be way harder if they play it every night, it may be the case of him not wanting to play it, who knows. im just saying as the tour goes on, playing faith every single night would be hard on his voice
