There are already 3 UK shows to choose from. I know one of that is technically a festival show, but they will be up there for 2 hours + I bet and the ticket price is reasonable considering they'll be some decent acts on before for once.

I think they are of the mind that they had a 12 night stint in the capital city, and those who really wanted to may have seen them then and so demand will be less for stadium shows.

And they'd probably be right.

Of course, if it wasn't all about the dollars in Jon's pocket, they could have played some theatre sized venues in between the big 3 shows to make the tour more accessible to people - but, when you think about it, Edinburgh, Manchester and London are 3 well spaced out shows in terms of geography and Dublin isn't exactly a million miles away for those that can afford to have a wee trip.
