I still have my VHS back from when it was released in 1990. Never got tired of it. To this day.....the performance of Wanted from that show is my favorite. They played it like they meant it and Jon was really putting his voice into it. Blood on Blood with it's extended middle section is also another highlight of course.

I've never been able to find much info on the entire show. My cable company didn't carry PPV so I wasn't able to order that....and since then I've pretty much come to understand that what is on the VHS version is about the extent of what was shown on PPV.

MTV's airing of the show just showed Wild in the Streets and Blood on Blood (the entire middle section edited out.)

i think the whole show is out on DVD in Japan - or at least it was going to be...

that's the only official live footage from 80s, but i think BJ only played aobut 1 hour

the festival was 2 days with the 6 or 7 main acts, plus i think a few more lesser russian support bands...

scorps show was as on Moscow but with rock you like a hurricane and i think can't live without you - 1 more anyway.

BJ's was the same i think but they did bad medicine... i have video footage of bad medicine from a news report around the time (vid is in full)...

You have to get the videos though because gorky park, scorpions and skid row are also amazing...

apparently half the bands there were doing drugs throughout show and on the plane... with exceptions being gorky park, BJ and Scorpions as far as i am aware...

quite ironic really MADF - and even more ironic that it all came about because it was doc's community service for smuggling an unbelievable amount of cocaine/drugs...

then again wouldn't it be great if all drug smugglers put on rock shows in Lenin Stadium with some of the top rock acts!!!

I wouldn't mind a PM either.
