Hi guys! I am a russian Bon Jovi fan and I am pissed off by the way our promoters act! They say that very soon that there will confirmation from the band that there will be concerts in Russia... Though there was nothing stated on bonjovi.com. The saddest thing that there are still ppl who bellive the promoters and they are still bying tickets to non existing concert

Guys I'm from Russia. Unfortunately there are not so many real Bon Jovi fans in our country ,so we can do nothing with these stupid rumours except trying to ask Bon Jovi or band managers for the official denying. We're really pissed at russian promoters, but as I said- it's hard for minority to influence on such situations

I'm very surprised that "Russia Today" announced this on their website. RT are a very credible network across Russia and the world, so it'd be like CNN announcing this falsifying information.

That said I don't think Bon Jovi will ever play Russia. They should have done it in the 90s and, at latest, 2000. I was in St Petersburg for a week in the summer and desperately tried to find Bon Jovi material in various music shops, but to no avail. I don't think the band are big there and don't think they would fill a stadium like the Luzhniki Stadium (80,000) in Moscow. The only way they could do Russia would be to play the Petrovsky Stadium - home to Zenit St Petersburg. 30,0000 seater capacity and geographically would cater for fans close by in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland etc.

No it's much simpler than that. It begins with 'f' and contains the letters 'a' 'd' 'r' and 'u', not necessarily in that order. Every industry suffers from it in some way and it hardly surprises me that in one of the remaining havens for pirated music in all shapes and forms that live takes a hit like this too.

It's not necessary to judge all Russian organizers on group of small swindlers. In Russia successfully pass a large quantity of concerts. It's interesting, why for this sort of rumors have chosen Bon Jovi?
