1. Bon Jovi - Wembley 1995
Yes, it's a good show, but later on that tour Bon Jovi played longer and better shows. Also, Jon's voice is slightly shot near the end of the show. Sure, there was Hey God and These Days, but many other shows from 1995 were longer, better and had a better flow, even without Dry County in them. Argentina and Johannesberg 1995 comes to mind, for example.

2. Bon Jovi - Yokohama 1996
A show many of you have on CD and maybe even on DVD, but yet the band has an off night and never really recovers. My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms goes wrong, Jon's voice is thin and there's no flow. The band looks tired, and again, there were many, many better shows from 1996. In fact, every show in Europe was better than Yokohama 1996.

3. Bon Jovi - Hyde Park 2003
Yes, the atmosphere was amazing, but Jon's voice was completely shot due to his hayfever, and recovered only near the end of the show. The show dragged on and on, and the band never really got into it, which is obvious when looking at the footage featured on the TLFR bonus DVD. Also, 2 hours and 45 minutes and only 1 song for the die hards? Again, there were many better shows in 2003, even some that were shorter but had a band that was on fire.

I'm not saying that these shows are bad, I'm saying that just because you were there at the time, or have a specific show on bootleg, doesn't make it the standard. So ladies and gentlemen, place your bets!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Is that Ines Cudna and friends on your sig?
