sorry to hear about that, I just looked at the set a moment ago and presumed anybody their must have been bloody buzzing, seems I was wrong

I know 100% what you mean... But that's the problem with playing stadiums, and attracting a young audiance.
Bruce gets away with it, as although not all his audiance a hard core fans who have every album, they're generally much older, you see very few 30- people there. Being older they're more apreciative of the music, and don't just go for the ones they know, they're there to have a good time with this music, and so want to listen to the music.

However, I think a lot o Bon Jovi audiances now are "new fans", they're young, and they want to scream and say they're the biggest fans in the world when they play it's my life, but will act dumb during older songs they don't know... If you like a band for their music it doesn't matter whether you kow them or not, you're listening to the music. Of cource this isn't 100% true, but if the crowd truely like Bon Jovi music, then they'd be into a song like Something to believe in and taking it for what it is reguardless of wether they're heard it before or not! I've noticed the same things, they go wild during new songs, and 'anthems' but it's all just reactions, there's no heart or true love in the atmosphere. This also I think restricts the set, I can understand why the band won't play Something to believe in when the crowd get it so wrong.

I've been complaining about prices a lot recently. Like I said, fan club included (which I didn't go for) the shows would cost me £65 (normal concert price between £25-35).... I've said I won't go to see the band after this tour if they do a similar thing next time. HOWEVER. I'd much sooner they said ok, lets get the old atmosphere back, let's **** stadiums and get arena's packed with real fans. We'll desuade the newies from coming by charging £65, but we'll let peole know we're playing a ballanced set list, not restricting to classics, and we'll be doing 3 hours. This would solve the problem
