This sucks. I wanted to see Chris Doughtry the first night. MCR Is simply music to slit your wrists to IMO. I really despise their album...It's all about death and hurt. Urgh.

I saw them at Leeds Festival last year and Rock Werchter this year and both times I thought they were bloody awful.

Yeah Ive heard a lot of bad 'live' reviews about MCR. I think I can go get everyone a hot-dog and bottle of Bud, during their performance, like a true American

I say those from the board that are going def get a drink together before MCR comes on and miss them completely.. I really don't want to sit through them.

Are you going to be there opening night Debbie? Perhaps we can all meet up and have a beer

I was planning on listening to MCR but my daughter told me not to bother (along with Kev) so perhaps beer would be better LOL.

Yes Kathleen I am going to opening night as well as the 1st 4th 9th and 10th.I think that would be a great idea.Won't the new arena have at least one bar cause I remember reading that there would be.I'm up for a drink even though I don't drink beer.

Liiiiiiiitle bit of a stereotype there

Although I don't think they're that good live, I'd say it's worth keeping an open mind about ... and I'd always say it's worth checking out a band to make up your own mind, not basing it on what someone else says. Personally, I'll always try to catch the opening band/s ... and if I find I don't like them (as with Idlewild supporting Pearl Jam) .. then I'll quite happily bugger off for food and drink!
